Early years support online and in Derbyshire workshops

HENRY is a registered charity and company in England and Wales that provides a wide range of support for families in the early years including workshops, programmes, resources and online help.  

Parents and professionals can access HENRY online or via local workshops to gain advice that promotes providing the best start in life for babies and children.

Locally in Derbyshire, there are courses and advice from pregnancy up to 12 years old including topics such as feeding, mealtimes, sleep, breastfeeding, healthy teeth and starting solid foods.

Join HENRY’s healthy lifestyle and parenting skills eight week programme. 

Meet other parents in group sessions, for families with children under 5 years old. 

What does the programme cover?

  • Learn and share parenting styles and skills 
  • Routines and behaviour management 
  • Healthy eating, portion sizes, fussy eaters, label reading
  • Being physically active 
  • Parenting confidence and enjoying life as a family 

Who is the course for? 

The eight week programme is aimed at families with children of primary school age. The workshops are free to attend and need to be booked in advance. Parents and children go together and your workshop leader will encourage everyone to get thinking about lifestyles, cooking together and physical activities. 

HENRY are unable to take bookings for unaccompanied children.
